The front fogs will only turn on when at minimum the sidelights are on, which sort of negates the need of DRLs if you wire them up to this switch. The rear fog should only come on when dipped or main beam is on which if wired to this switch not only makes them a pointless add on, but also illegal to drive due to the rear fog being lit.

Last thing you would want is to turn your DRLs on and look like a t**t by driving round with your rear fog on too. You'll get burnt eyeballs by the people blinding you back using their main beam   8O

If you must have them, you'll be better off wiring them up properly through a relay so that they come on as soon as you start the engine, and turn off when you turn the dipped beam lights on.[/quote]
