Start combining meets with other forums... It's the way forward.
Eg, Pug306.net and club306 regularly share meets, as do Saxperience and 106 owners. There's also been times where any cars welcome as long as it's french. |

I try my best to make decent meets for the club.
Unfortunately during show season its hard to afford really active meets.
We have a pub meet Every wednesday in Bristol which i opened to 206info and no one bothered.
It usually a great laugh, nothing serious simple cheap grub at a harvester, few drinks, few photos and we are done.
Ive organised a few meets over the past few months with other clubs and invited 206info along but no one ever attends from here.

It's because people make threads and give shocking descriptions and don't give people confidence that its going to be worthwhile to attend. Or they are just "lets all sit in a car park and look at each others cars" meet. |

We have the same problem in the west midlands, everyone starts threads but I don't think there has been a west midlands meet since the site re-opened |

I attended a few of the Brighton ones. Bowling and lunch. Never get meets any closer though.! |

there is also this that someone is doing a met for think it is meet down exeter services then drive up to the show. i spoke to mattyp bout it but i think he said Rttam has more info about it. could be a good day out

well depending on dates i would go as i am based near cambridge in the week and then come home to devon on weekends to see the missus and kiddie. if it is when i have leave and i am back for a few weeks she wont mind me coming along. |
