Good thing about the 206 is the passenger airbag is just screwed / bolted on & easy / cheap to replace unlike a lot of cars where the whole dash needs replacing when the passenger airbag fires.

There isn't a seam around the cover so it will tear through it if it goes off. If you are contemplating touching the airbag system, disconnect the battery and leave it for 15-20 mins to disarm itself.

Haynes manual identifies the screw locations - when I took mine out I removed glove-box, centre console and the panel at the end of the dashboard first for better access and to get some extra light in there - it's fiddly and you end up lying on your back in the footwell with a torch in your mouth
