Hi Gents,
Just an update on the power loss problems. The code it brought up apparently relates to a blocked exhaust, more likely to be a collapsed catalyst.

I checked the air intake pipe and the was a joint loose so sorted that but will check the vaccum pipe tomorrow |

On a steep hill it struggles to get above 30 and can't get past second gear as it dies in thrd. On the motorway on a flat section its struggling to keep 70.

Hi,
Just to keep you updated I had the car on a friends diagnostics scanner and all clear 
Its off to a peugeot specialist tomorrow so hope this solves the problem. |

Hi,
I have just bought a 1.4 HDI but is really slow. You can hear the turbo spooling but still down on power.
Any ideas?

I'll check again but it did look o.k. A local carage thought it might be a sensor when I called earlier.
