this started happening on my car and i checked the coolent level and it was really low (took nearly 2 ltrs of water to get back to normal level) and now its fine, always check the easy/ less expensive ...

Yea the system is now full and bled and hasnt dropped since i last topped it back up, as for the anti-freeze im really not sure as when it had its last service was 2 years ago so presume it got done t ...

Well the other day when i went out there (my first post in this thread) the expansion tank was empty and i topped it up and it took 2Ltrs before it was at the right level.

I then started the engine ...

oh dear more money then Sad do you think its worth getting the coolant changed before the head gasket? im thinking that its pretty pointless but im no mechanic lol

I was going to flush out and renew the coolant tomorrow but should i do this now? as everyone i spoke to says the head gasket is on its way out so should i get that done and then change it?

Yea thats what i was thinking of getting done just to be 100% its the head gasket! but it dont look good Sad my car has been almost perfect for 3 years and now everythings going wrong at once!! Sad

Mine has started doing this in the last couple of months Sad i just looked at my coolant tank and it was empty too! so looks like a new head gasket is needed soon Sad

I get this too however mine is noisey when the engine first starts then when it warms up the noise gets quiter! also had full service about 1 month ago
