i was allways told the Gti mirrors didnt fold as i had tried and they were stiff so didnt want to break anything!

this has just started in the last few days, when im starting up the car ( Gti 138 ) thewidle will go up to 1.5k stay there a second or two then drop back down to just below 1k

as per title realy guys.

i replace my old washer jets with mk2 ones as 1 was blocked but the pasenger side one sprays to high and the drivers to low..

unlike to mk1 washers i cant see a way to a ...

take the rubber off, cut down/off the standard metal plate on the brake pedal, move it further over and weld it back on... ?

could work but i have no idea what the brake pedal will be like on an a ...

Certainly sounds like the handbrake or rear brakes.

My handbrake cable is snapped on the nearside and if i hit the bite point on the clutch the car will dip on one side more so than the other.

hey guys,

pulled up my handbrake as i got to work and its snapped where it attaches to the nearside caliper.

anyone know how much roughly this costs to fix?

i do remember that when i wound it out it came out by about an inch and was just metal inside, mayb had a rubber seal round the end of the piston but i dome this 3years ago so not fresh in my memory.

i had this on my saxo and done what you have which solved the problem.

did you wind the piston al the way out and back in 3-4 times, each time greasing it up?

i aslo got a file and sandpaper and ...
