First thing I would check are the bottom ball joint/wishbone assembly, this is a common area for problems on f/wheel drive vehicles and will cause the car to veer about in the way you have mentioned. ... |

The 1.6 hdi as mentioned earlier is a ticking time bomb if you're looking at cheap second hand. Their turbo problems stem from one main problem...lubrication. A lot of diesel owners still believe that ... |

Rather annoyingly and going against what the previous owner lead me to believe......This turned out to be a badly fitted cambelt....a tooth out!

Just a thought...Does your car have a dual-mass clutch system?
If so it could be the dual mass plate, like I say..it's just a thought. |
