If it's a multiplex car ie: after 2001, It will need a new Com2000. Either get one for a breaker (might not last) or a new one (expensive). |

Looks like it's been in a small smash.
Clues are N/S front wing missing arch extension and quicksilver logo.
Should be ok as long as the repair was done properly. |

Changed mine last Monday. Remove the whole unit with a T20. All the other scews on the mirror unit are phillips. |

It also may not be covered as you're not the original purchaser of the car. Second owners can be on a restricted warranty for some items. Still worth a try though. |

I wouldnt attempt it at all!! My daughters '99 plate 106 went to ATS and even with the right kit for the job they struggled. It's not expensive to get it done properly (unless it's totally kn**kered) ... |

Could be the cams that opperate the brakes have rusted due to the weather and if the car's been standing over xmas/new year. Most tyre/brake places like ATS etc will sort it for not many pennies. |

As its winter the engine takes longer to warm up and uses more fuel than in the summer (auto choke on longer), so if you're only doing short journeys you will use alot more fuel. |

The bulbs are available in Halfords to! Be sure to change ALL the bulbs in the unit (blown or not) otherwise when you get it back together you'll find the ones you didn't change have blown....
