If the cleaner down the inlet improved it I would suggest taking out the inlet manifold sensor, small 8mm headed screw holds it in place, I've had no end of probs with these on TU and ET series engine ...

Depends if they have a pressure gauge or not and how accessible the pressure test port is, it should be 3.0 bar at 200 ...

Have you got this sorted? When I worked as a tech at Pug high pitch regular beep was when the radio wasn't coded to the car, so if we did a sales head unit swap, you needed to go in and prog the chass ...

I do w/pumps & coolant with every car I do a belt change on (as long as cam belt driven), esp Pugs, not worth not doing whilst you're in there, also tend to use gen Pug pumps also unless the owner req ...
