Hi Guys, the knocking noise happens when you accelerate and then lift off suddenly, but can also happen on certain rough roads etc, also when changing gear when releasing the clutch a bit suddenly in ... |

Hi, my 52reg gti has developed a clunking when dipping clutch/changing gear and when accelerating hard and then lifting off again. you can feel it through the pedals and seems to be from drivers side ... |

Hi Eddie, thanks for the reply, no blue smoke at all from last time i looked, will check again later, fuel i put in is usual standard supermarket unleaded, sometimes i put in momentum 99 but not very ... |

Hi Guys, recently my 2002 gti has been using quite a bit of oil, it is not dripping out anywhere as it leaves no oil drips when parked, seems to use a lire or so every 1000 miles, engine temps also go ... |
