Just down to being cheap boy racer cars. Shame idiots like this spoil it for the rest. Im old and only pay £280 fully comp. Really feel sorry for the younger drivers |

My mate has a 180 gti and had a knocking when changing gear. He changed loads. Drop links, Engine mount etc. Found out in the end it was his cat. It had come lose inside some how. Might be worth alook ... |

Everyone always says you dont need glowplugs when it warm. My car wouldn't start for ages. Found out it was the glowplug relay. Starts great now. So yes you still need glowplugs to start . Even if it ... |

Its fixed guys :):):)
Turned out to be the Glow plugs relay. Peugeot what £147.89 plus VAT for it so told them where to put it. Nicly i might add Then phoned local Auto factors and they could d ... |

Right i've checked batt. Its fine. Its got no air in system. Only thing i just spotted is i have a leaking injector. Wonder if that could be the problem. I dont know much about derv engines sorry

Yeah i have been mate. The glow plug light is the yellow/orange light just under my fuel gauge. It goes out but the car still wont start for ages. Looks like i might have to try new glow plug's. As th ... |

Hmm now im worried as the batt is strong as it has no problem turning the engine over for the minute or so before it starts. Also the last owners put new glow plugs in as i have the recept. Also had a ... |

Yeah i have buddy. Other side has a very slight rounded end. Also about 2cm's long to. You can tell they cut it as it ruff and you can see the cutting lines in the metal.
