I've just read about a remap from a guy called Steve on here for like £80 for the 2 litre. Sounds like a good bet. What sorta mileage do they do top end?

Sorry yea, it is the 105 tdi engine. Only thing I enjoy on it is the 'tsshhhhh' when u change gear at the tight revs

Twas' the window switch stuck which drained and murdered the battery. New battery fixed it, boom!

I've tried the earth, hooked up the -be to 2 different places on the body an to the gearbox, nothing at all. Could it be immobiliser related?

There's normally some crystals in the for sale section mate. And there's a masking headlights thread in the how to section somewhere too. It's dead easy to do, I've just done it this weekend.

If I respray the insert, staz999 reckons I need to bake it afterwards in the oven so the heat from the bulb ...
