My 1.4 hdi used to do this before I replaced the battery, the battery would start the car but I guess the voltage would drop to a point where it affected the trip computer and the radio station tuning ... |

Might be injectors getting clogged up affecting the spray pattern, if so it would probably affect the mpg somewhat.
My 1.4 hdi runs very smoothly and ticks over like a Swiss watch. |

Driving home from work tonight in my 1.4hdi, done about 15 miles when the engine light came on and "Anti Pollution Fault" came up on the display.
The car still sounded and drove normally with no loss ... |
