been told rear brake pads need replacing is this a job that can be done by self ? and is there any particular type of brake pads to get ?

saw these on flea bay are they ok ? car model 1.6 xsi 2002 ...

I cant even set the "panic" alarm off - I can lock the doors and press the small button to alarm which now makes no audible noise and the light on the dash is now flashing to say it is alarmed but uns ...

Had my car off the road with battery disconnected for 5 weeks, just got the car back yesterday battery reconnected car started straight away but my alarm does not seem to be functioning as it should.
