I had an old corsa that had this issue, the catalytic convertor had gone, not sure its the same setup with a pug.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that, is removing the bottom hose going to be enough,

the fact I only managed 3.5 litres, means that its only half drained?

I'm tempted to wack a 60/40 mix of coola ...

I removed the bottom hose from the radiator and drained the system.

but I'm thinking this isn't a complete drain, I'm aware its a 7 Litre system, so I've put 3.5 litres of water in and the header ...

It's preplexed, everything is working apart from the indicators, and hazards so can only assume its the loom or bulb!
