Ah, thanks guys, the sparks will be replaced soon, it's running well atm.
Should run better after new oil + filter + plugs. It's been well serviced previously.

Well, this is interesting. Driven the car for 40 miles, it hasn't been serviced yet, and the fault has completely disappeared! Must have been some unburnt fuel in the cat.? |

The garage might be able to shed some light on it. I tried an eBay special on it (£20) and got p1622 which is clearly incorrect and it tried but wouldn't clear the code. |

I could have bought a red 180 when I was looking for a 180! But I could see evidence of overspray on both inside-B-Pillars. Was quite hard to spot, but I got down on my back and noticed that the lower ... |

Check for overspray and make sure all panels are lined-up - if it's straight and there are no mechanical defects, go for it  Also check the underbody if you can - any accident damage usually shows-u ... |
