whoop, whoop got it on at last BUT now cant get the bolts in the torsion bar either end , yes the washer is out of the way , are these bolts esential , i will have to rethread i think . all other bo ... |

but the bar is out of the passenger side so the washer wouldnt make a diff?? stuck solid on the arm taken out . would it make a diff iff i lifted other side off the floor so there is more play for t ... |

yes i removed the screw but the washer is still there, washer doesnt stop the torsion bar going back in does it ?? i would rather get the arm on without dam bearings again and think about the bar late ... |

one more thing i have been trying it with only 1 side jacked up , would this make a diff ?? would it be easier if i had the back end on axle stands ?? |

thnks i looked at those youtube before attempting job and thought it was easy but for the life of me i cant get that torsion bar to engage on passenger side , luckily enough i got the arm back off wit ... |

which way should i be hitting the torsion bar [ driverside stuck } hitting from outside in / inside out ?/ passenger side was outside in . do you know what i mean ?? |

torsion stuck solid on mine too , tried reinserting with it on but no joy and knackered my new bearings i put in . if i bugger the next lot up i wont be a happy bunny . wish i went to a garage now. ... |

so do i just knock as hard as i can to get the torsion bar off or can i refit without taking it off, although i failed first time . i have another axle as well but that seems stuck as well ???

yes i did take measurements before stripping & greased bearings , only 1 side of torion bar comes loose other side is solid . and no i havent got a guide ?? does the torsion bar come off both ends ? ... |

just tried replacing these trailing arm bearings but failed . got them in the trailing arm no probs 5 mins . but getting the arm back on was a diff matter , couldnt get it all the way in about an in ... |
