Mechanic thinks its the Diff in the gearbox and would probably need recon box.:-( |

Found the problem! One of the wires had broken inside its rubber coating just as it comes through the body to the sender unit. It was covered by a small cable tie. Thanks for all the suggestions. |

connection at sender is clean with nothing broken and is receiving the 2 1/2 volts. |

I have checked contacts at sender end but dont know about anywhere else.
Yes I had the sender out but gauge did not move but the ohms were changing correctly at the sender. |

I have tested the sender and it is fine correct ohms for the different positions. |

Does anybody know where the fuel pump relay is on an 2002 1.4 hdi?
or sugestion why the fuel pump wont run, Pumpmis fine and fuse is fine.cheers |

Today I went to start the car and didn't hear the fuel pump priming. The car didn't start. I used the hand pump to prime the fuel and the car started no problem and it ran fine after that. Any suggest ... |

I was just wondering if anyone can recomend a good oil for my 2002 206 1.4 hdi. The user manual says not to put in a synthetic based oil.
