You would need to wire all your switches etc separate into a fuse box. That's what I've done anywat

the ecu will only run the engine aspects you need the orginal ecu etc to run the clocks and internal swtiches etc

Just buy a new caliper. You can spend a day doing all that and its £30 for a whole new one from GSF

they are just cast marks from the making of the gearbox. dont worry about it
