Yeah I guess it must be that, do you think that will definitely need changing imminently? Its just I really don't fancy taking the gearbox off again anytime soon.

I had a very similar problem when I first had my XSi, turned out the spark plugs just needed changing, its worth taking them out and checking they look ok, as it wouldn't cost anything just for a look ... |

I don't have an alignment tool, i used an extension bar with tape round it though it the right place, I'm going to reattempt it again soon but if anyone still has tips please keep em coming, i think i ... |

Its a peugeot wing. Ive tried pushing it, it seems fairly solid and don't want to dint it. |

Ps, the engine rattle was the radiator bottle  one rattle down, one to go. |

Well i checked things over again this morning, the seat is definitely bolted down and it does latch in the upright position, you can't just pull it down.

I had this exact problem with my 206 xsi (electronic throttle also) a while back, it turned out to be the spark plugs really needed changing, and its been fine since, its worth a look. |

Well i checked the plugs and coil pack today, turned out while it had good bosch plugs in they were extremely dirty and messed up. So i swapped the plugs and it seems to have cured the issue. Thanks f ... |
