i would suggest you get the ball joints/bushes tyre pressures and tracking checked first. if those are all ok then you could end up going down the same route as me.

Pleased to say that as a last resort I changed the 3 month old wishbone before going for the gear box and it worked.
Tracking is set fine and no wander / pulling with the steering.
Problem is solved ...

OK Torque may not be the correct term to use but the symptoms are the same pulling one way under acceleration but probably due to a mechanical problem more than power produced by the engine.
