Under the glove box in the footwell there is the brake light switch (blue if I remember correctly) check that it is still plugged in and secure  |

They are only cheap... but then again so am I!
Tried my best with the pictures, this is the side near the wheel at the front. Car needs a good clean I know!

I can't talk I have phase 1 bits with odd phase 2 bits on mine!  Car looks good though best colour 
I'd try and pick up some alloys it would set it off nicely |
