Most of the time I find its anti roll bar bushes.
Clucking when turning full lock could be top mount bearings.

You often find if its the stering rack, track rod ends wish bone rubbers, ball joint ...

Sure right.
Maintenance is the key.
If you don't get at least 200k out of a car with no major repairs you havnt looked after it.

If the demister makes it a lot worse you might have a alternator issue which you would have to get checked out.
Some cars have powerfull amplifiers built in and take a lot of power, if the alternator ...

When buying the springs they will be listed to fit several cars and they will fit BUT they might have a different load rateing to yours so as long as you change the pair you should be OK.

I would test the engine temp sensor.
There is often one for the gauge on your clocks and a seperate one for the ecu.
They should both read the same with a multimeter.

Do a simple test for me, put radio on , while listening to it turn on your rear screen heater/demister.

Does this make the signal worse.?

Do you use the rear screen heater often.?
