how long can i drive the car if it is the cam lifters (tappets) gone
would it mess anythink else up if i keep driving it

just a update put my new coil pack on and new super 4s and car seem alot better but after about a hour i went out 4 a drive and it was back to the same as be 4 i changed any think,
could some thi ... |

well by every think u have just said im not a happy man,
ive all ready done a oil change and put the tappet cleaner in i had all ready seen that on this site
if u dont mind me asking how much did ... |

thanks mate but i went out today and got a band new coil pack and new super 4s today at a cost of £100 not bad really,
what i really wont to know is what was ur car like be 4 u had ur tappets don ... |

how much do u wont 4 all 3 of them mate,
and about ur tappets how did u know they had gone cause i think mine mite be on there way out cause my car really shakes in the morning,

sorry ive just changed the spark plugs to bosch super 4 where could i get the coil packs from cause the only 1 ive found is a valeo |

just so people know there was 4 things that came up on the scan 2 was coil pack 1 i think was stepper motor i think not a 100% and the 4th was some thing about high rev but im going back in the mornin ... |

just to let people know the car when started sounds louder now than be 4 and the exhaust pops,
and just be 4 the car cuts out it sounds like its sucking loads of air in then just dies, any ideas to w ... |

well i reset the ecu and still the same, i then changed the map sensor with the one of my saxo vtr they are both the same but it didnt make any differance, would i need 2 reset the ecu again with the ... |

ye i did clean it but still the same im just going to reset the ecu and hope it works will post back later if it worked or not |
