I fitted a 307 resistor into my 206 .....seems it is the same

Got it from e-bay and was easy to fit
Heater working well now.

Has anyone replaced just the bottom Ball Joint on their 206?

We have just replaced the complete A-arm.
and used a superb post by 'Ape' on replacing the A-arm

Both bushes on the old A-arm look ...

Replaced a rear axle (drums) and could not get fluid to come thro when bleeding
Tried and tried but nothing.........

then used an EZE Bleeder.........job done in minutes

Take the blower motor unit off
Test the motor on its own......+ve and -ve to the motor and it should work
The aluminium bit with the pegs is a resistor and it might be only this part that needs cha ...

Seems a big job for a little ticking noise when cold (turn the radio up or cure?)

Why were tappets used from the 307 rngine ? Was this an improvement over standard

...

A little tappet noise on start up from what appears to be only one tappet.

Have been told that other tappets are a better choice when replacing them

Anyone know which ones to use from 1.8 1 ...

It is the small stalk next to the washer stalk on our 1.6 53 plate 206cc
Keep pressing the stalk end and you should see the trip computer run thro' all the options

I've noticed the air filter hose goes under the car and up the inner wing.

Sucking up water will destroy your engine as it can't be compressed and the engine has hydauliced.....piston tries to squ ...

We have 2 206cc

The newer one a 53 plate 1.6 has the stalk that you press to see the different options available
but
our older 206cc Y-reg 2.0 doesn't seem to have the different options available ...

Bubbles in the expansion water bottle indicate a blown head gasket
A sniff test at a garage will tell you for sure if it is the head gasket.
