bang some talc on your belts on the drivers side of the engine. squeeking is obviosusly a problem with rubber, so thats the only place ive ever had squeeking from, and cant think of anywhere else, so ... |

my 206 did this a few times, it sorted itself out though, it didnt have a constant slip. only every now and again, id go for overheated clutch.. if it isnt that, the problem is deffinately in the clu ... |

onhes right. drop down to 4th at least when doing 40, these 206's dont like to struggle aha. it is a little bit of a silly question though, the higher the gear, the lower the revs will be, it cant fee ... |

you could try harder suspention? might make the ride a little more un-comfy, but it would solve your problem.
on the plus side. it costs all the rest of us £60+ to get our 206's low. and your get ... |

nah there fine. it bump starts, but wont start on the turn of the key. which makes the problem, the starter motor¬ so gonna get a new one put on i think;. or tighten that one up, because iv just h ... |

i had the same problem, apparently its a big problem with 206's. its just a case of swapping 2 wires over. it was bugging me for ages, then i just bought a new stereo, and told the guy at the audio sh ... |

I have a 1.4 GLX, and the diff's gone, so replacing the whole box seems the easier option.
iv been offered a 2001 quicksilver gearbox. i havent been to look at it yet.

my old stereo did that, and i couldnt figure out why, coz it worked fine in my old car, and the plugs were all brand new, so i took it halfrauds, and got them to fit me one, because i wanted my moneys ... |
