UPDATE!! Electrician at work voltmeter tested and results are as follows
Engine off power at battery 11.5volts
Engine running power at battery 11.5 volts
Engine 1500rpm 11.5volts
Lights, rear heat ...

onHmm I hope so, gonna get one of he electricians at work to check alternator and make sure it's cahrging before I get too excited.

Sorry I forgot to mention I had put a battery on from my other 206 which I knew was working and charging fine.
I have driven the car to work today (12miles) and battery light didn't come on but Lbvio ...

Ok so all bushes are fine. Can only think it has something to do with steering pump. Can these be bled to remove possible air pockets?

i would always recomend spending an extra couple of quid and get coilovers, for what you can pay for springs you might aswel wait an extra couple of weeks and get a little bit more money and get coilo ...
