Servicebox Question

I'm just hunting around service box for part numbers and in some cases, the parts have a criteria of:

AND AGE >= 3 (or another number)

I don't recall coming across this with the 1.6, so what does 'AGE' mean in this case?

So have PSA quietly reduced the change period as I always thought this was about 8 years in the past?

(which is actually far too long in my opinion)

Well, I still don't really know what AGE > really means.

If it's years (and I'm assuming it is), then what's the base line for that. ie if it's 1998, does this mean all cars after 2001..? Next time I go to Pug. I'll have to ask someone that knows!
