Haven't done much with the car recently, mainly just maintenance stuff like a recent service, replacing a worn interior grab handle, and replacing a temperamental electric window switch.

Yesterday though I got my rear camber shims fitted at long last. They're set at the maximum negative camber, which is 1'30 (in hours, minutes, seconds). I'm pleased with the result, it's quite a subtle change but a definite improvement in my eyes. After having the front wheels set at 2'00 degrees I always felt the rear needed similar treatment!

Comtemplating spacing the rears out an extra 5mm now, but it means buying hubcentric spacers and they aren't cheap.

Comments welcome Smile

Can't say I have mate in all honesty, if it has affected the handling then it must be minimal!

Thanks Uz, I hear Ad with the red one might be selling up soon...

12mm spacers ordered, to replace the 5mm ones on the rear, was going to go for 10mm but thought I'd push the boat out and go for an extra couple of mm Laughing . Also whilst trying to get an idea of how it would look with the 12mm spacers, it came to light that a rather special Lupo GTI is running the exact same wheel sizes and offsets, perfect Very Happy . Bloody expensive though altogether with the longer bolts Crying or Very sad .

Good work Ross! Tipton? Not far from either!

Love the stance and look of the Luup now. I've got a bit of a soft spot for them. Get a 20v T or 2.0 Tfsi shoehorned in there!! Laughing
