printer noise is abs working overtime the only time your wheels would normally loose traction that easy would be either on diesel or at 60-70 hard brakeing so you wouldnt of heard the noise before. loud knocking noise ignore it, its to cold and wet to be messing around under a car checking things, if it breaks it breaks, stop being so paranoid and enjoy your 206! there 5+ years old your bound to get a few bangs and squeeks every now an then

MrBSI- you on about 206 ABS, or ABS in general, because id wager a £1000 that my jags abs kicks in on ice  |

Im not being paranoid at all. I have just bought the car, if its anything major I am taking it back to the garage. I am new to cars, only been driving 3 months. My previous car never had ABS so havent had experience in these conditions.
And I have heard that noise because it did it again today. It does it at like 10mph.

if you have just brought it enjoy it! as they are over 3-4 years old bushes start to get worn rubbers perish abs is a pain in the a**e in these condititions i think it does more bad than it does good! the noises you mention though dont sound anything to worry about the knocking noise might get worse and you might need drop links / wishbones at some point but untill then enjoy!
p.s drop links and wishbones seem to be quite suspect on these cars so thats more than likely what your knocking will be!

Thats why im asking if there's anything wrong, you cant enjoy a car that doesnt work 100%

Mine does too, how can the ABS sensor tell weather or not you are on ice?

Sounds to me like your abs is working perfectly fine.
The 'printer noise' you mention is just the electric abs pump 'doing its thing' due to the abs system sensing one, or more, locked wheels which it then releases and re-applies continually whilst the brake pedal is applied..
You need to be aware that when you are driving on ice there is zero friction between the tyre and the iced road surface and therefore even the best brakes in the world are practically useless, and abs, though it will still kick in, is ineffective on ice (due to the aforementioned zero friction).
The general rule is that when you find yourself on ice, you leave the brakes alone and try to GENTLY steer out of trouble .
