Hey guys,
My handbrake needs tightening up badly (10 -12 clicks atm) and i havnt got a clue how to do it!! Would anyone be able to come a do it for me and ill pay (obviously!). Its a 1999 1.4 8v. Cheers guys. Joni!

Lift your handbrake gaiter up and there will be a small nut turn it clockwise Wink

ok guys ill have a go, is it just really lifting the handbrake up to 4/5 clicks then tightening the bolt? sounds easy enough!

You need to make sure the rear brakes are working & adjusted correctly before you adjust the handbrake cable.

In normal use & if the brakes are looked after the handbrake cable should hardly ever need to be adjusted.
