6. Uprated oil pump.

Can you give any detail or brand for that? And is your pistons 2 ring ?

And my guess about RR. If you still in standart cams i think 205 hp with a good cam you will see 225 hp Smile

I think I'm winner about hp guess competition. Smile

No information on fuel loads yet.... I think I have to get several issues sorted first before we map it harder.... I have run the engine on SAE30 mineral to bed it in and changed to synthetic for the rollers. I think it needs more time and a check over before it gets any more

again I have no info on that .... I will get all this when I get my laptop plugged in tomorrow. I have to sort other things I am not 100% happy with first. Suffice to say I think it will produce more power at the top end but the torque figures are great.... I wanted more torque lower down the range and got it. There is about 185ft/lb on tap at present

I don't think those figures do you/that engine justice. not that they should be higher, i just think the difference between your way and a bolt on turbo will be massive.....definately in favour of 'proper na tuning'.
And being really cheeky, what does the engine stand you at?

This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

Bearing in mind I am still running standard cams I think this is a very good result... Matt has mapped it to get me the low down torque I was after and to get 185ft/lb od torque between 4-5000rpm is mega.
As far as cost is concerned I have spent a lot on development with this project, I have used 3 engines to get here and will still work on itmore to get it perfect.
With all that power and torque it would make a lovely fast road car if you wanted to trash the civic/clio boys..... it spins up in the first 3 gears when it hits 3500rpm and can be made to spin 4th with a late clutch dump which smokes them to 5500rpm. But I dont want to do that Laughing

I will talk to Charlie at CTM to see what he feels a cam will do to those figures and it is going back to the rollers for a re-check and tweak of the map when its loosened up..... and there's nothing like a tarmac rally to loosen things up Wink

Looks like the engine has loosened itself up..... I have a slight noise which has turned into a knock..... so the engione has to come back out and be stripped to check whats happening..... sadly it means I have to cancel the Woodbridge rally........ The latest development costs on this engine are a little over £2000 so its a big blow to the project Crying or Very sad

Bottom puley had been fitted with too long a bolt... they had bottomed out in the hub and left the pulley loose. As the fresh paint wore through the pulley became more loose.... Then started to eat the hub causing the rattle from the crank area. It was only when I took the sump guards off I found it.......

Hi, would you mind telling me what lb's and free length springs you are using with the coilovers,
im running tarmac spec and most are recommending 225lb 10.5 free length but i personally think that would be too stiff
Cheers Brian
