Try to get a video. When running? All the time? Could be a belt

Reading this has suddenly made me realise, iv had my xsi about a year and a half now, its always had some squeaky noise coming from the engine which i presume was the alternator or some other belt. iv just realised it gone by itself.... erm... lol.

when you say cricket noise do you mean a squeaking noise or a tapping noise?

Iv had:
1.1 106 - 1.4 206 sport - 206 GTi180 - Subaru impreza wrx - 1.6 206 XSI
Now : GTi 180 again - Build thread

My squeak was caused by the engine mounts.
