had eml light on due to no cat on car (have read code) and everytime i turn it on it shows up straight away, yesterday took it for a fast long blast down dual carriage way (light still on) but today took it out and light hasn't shown all day. just interested why it would just disappear like that?? i do have a cat read to be put on car, (180)

It will sense the missing cat ... and nowadays no cat, where one was fitted originally, is a MOT fail.
