Hi guys. So I have been looking into a dump valve for my 206 2.0 Hdi. But upon reading some threads on here from a few years ago that it is not a good idea due to power loss etc. which turn me onto a comment made about a does pipe. And from my understanding it's a pipe fitted in replacement of the air intake to the turbo and upon deceleration the pipe makes a fluttering chatter noise and I'm sorry not everyone will share my opinion but I really like it.

So my question is can this be fitted to my car 206 2.0 Hdi decat eager delete and stage 1 remap. Is it hard and is it expensive to do as I'm trying to google but I don't really know what I am looking for and would love any helpful advice if you guys know anything or could point me in the right direction

Also not been on my project thread for a while as mr farmer decided to pull out in front of me and f**ked my car. Only a week after a drum to disc conversion too.

Thanks in advance for any help guys I apriciate you taking your time to read and reply.

Nate

Im not sure you will experience power loss with a dump valve at all, you may loose 'some' cylinder filling but thats it

Just get a strong enough spring and you should be good to go!

You mean a does pipe? A short bit of tubing the same size of the intake of the turbo witha large air filter...

A dump valve relieves pressure, a new intake path just amplifies intake noise or compressor charge hitting the turbo

Addaz Could you recommend anyone up north that could Supply or just fit a Fmic and fabricate a does pipe for my 2.0 lump? I feel out of my depth here so my knowledge on this is a little thin
