Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a 206 automatic 2004, it's been randomly cutting out and the mechanic I use can't find the problem. I've been checking everything I can think of (thanks to reading posts on here!) but still no joy...until I found a connector attached to the base plate of the ecu not connected earlier today. I don't know what the connector is for, I can't find any wiring diagrams, but I've taken a few photos, hoping someone can help me.

I just had a similar connection done today.
The first image, as you say, is connected to the underside of the ECU. there is an opposite connector (2 wires red/white) which connects to this coming from under the ECU from the driver side wing. If you loosen the 2 nuts which holds down the ECU, move it away from the wing, you should be able to see the connector hanging/disconnected.....assuming your car connection is the same as mine.

The 2nd image looks different.
One wire connector.....there is a similar one wire connector towards the front of the car, under the oil filter location.

206: 1.1L, 2002.

Thanks Triggerfish, I'll have a look tomorrow...I was just assuming the two connectors went together, I wasn't thinking that they'd have more connectors hiding elsewhere!
