Hi, I had planned to do some work on the Peugeot 206. Taking the brake calipers off, removing the frame, the pads, and discs and giving it all a good clean. Now the first 2 bolts, to remove the caliper, was easy no problems there. Now the 2 bolts to remove the caliper frame, brought me to a halt. I think its a Torx hole, but I am just wondering whether any one else has come across this issue and know the size of the Torx, piece needed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Dan

A quick search (see up left) for 'torx caliper size' spat out two posts that say it's T55

Is it a later 206? Earlier ones had a 19mm bolt which is much better. I know the 207 used torx bolts.

Thank you for your help guys, I did in fact go and get a T55 bit but I am yet to do the work as the heat is making the floor too hot at the moment. Its a 2005 Peugeot 206, so whether or not they changed the bolts for security reasons or something im not sure Smile

I can guarantee you won't be undoing these. Unless you bought a decent solid torx bit and they aren't seized on there.
