hoping there may be someone whose had s similar issue.
Ive got an oil leak on my 2002 140hp Gti
ive cleaned the area affected to see if I could better locate the issue.
it disappeared for a day or 2 but is back.
the oil seems to be running down the engine from around the base of the dipstick tube , ive checked the oil filter and no oil there, the oil filter mounting to the block looks good.
its getting frustrating now as locating it is as usual proving to be a pain.
if its coming out the top of the dipstick holder then I might have a bigger issue, Its not burning it from what I can see.
any assistance greatfully received.
I have the bottom seals on route for the dipstick tube
