Can anyone give me tips or a link to instructions on how to replace the antenna on a 2001 206 GTI 2L (130hp...not the 180)?

I need to replace the base of the antenna after and incident with a garage door Embarassed

The antenna is located at the rear of the roof and There is no interior light underneath it as on some 206’s with antennas at the front.

Is the only option to remove the rear hatch weather seal and the interior roof lining? I’m a bit worried if I remove the roof lining I’ll never get it back in place again.

Anyone with any experience here??

Thanks in advance

Well the best way to do so,is to remove the "C" pillars plastic cover, and the hatch weather seal and pull the roof lining gently down and undo the nut holding the base.
