well guys, thought it was time i started a progress thread even though there has been very little progress so far!!

first off abit of car history..

first car a nice mk1 saxo VTR..

which sadley ended up looking liek this 7 months later Sad

Second car, another VTR but a mk2 this time..

when i got it home

just before i stripped the parts and sold it standard.

fav moment with the saxo...

bloody miss that car!!

well, it was time to move on, somthing better, more confortable, powerfull and abit more grown up lol

so the GTI arrived, and a bargin it was to.

£1800 on a W plate (2000) 53k and the 5th owner.

the car is in great condition, few stone chips but its 10 years old, leather on the drivers seat is abit cracked but that will be getting repaired. Apart from that its nipping Smile

first off was to give it a good clean as it obviously had not seen any polish or wax in a very long time.

so using a mix of AutoGlym, Meguirers and Dodo Juice products i ended up with a very shiney GTI

i also decided to give the engine a little clean up, it was not overly dirty to start with but looks a tad better now.

Before:

After:

not so bad eh?

mods so far are a set of 17" Wolfrace Pro Sprints and a Powerflow Cat Back Exaust, which sounds rather good to be honest.

they wer on the car when i bought it but my plans for it is:

set of nimrods, not sure on colour as of yet
windows tinted
headlights smoked
full spax psx/vsx kit with a drop of 30mm
brembo 4 pot front brakes
mintex brakes all round
green panel filter
4 branch mani
decat pipe

that should do me for now but will be looking into a TB conversion or a GTI 180 engine swap

oh and my first mod so far has been a set of Anti Glare HID's which imo is a must.

hopeing to have alot of those mods done before Ultimate Street Car @ Santa Pod on the 6th, 7th & 8th of August.

well that is it for now,

comments very welcome and i hope to be updating this very soon Smile

Karl.

haha thye are the Fuel Girls, google em, sure ou will of heard of them tbh!

not sure, dpends if anyone brings ome along lol

As for the manifold, its for sale if anyone wants it? going to be to much work fo me to fit as the engine has to drop out to be done properly or it can be squuezed through, but abit off a fook on. Plusits longer than the standard mani so the Cat has to be cut and the supplied flange welded on.

i dont have the time to do this so will sell it if anyone wants it, never fitted and still in the box of corse.

wil knock £20 off the price of new Smile

well well well over a year later and i do believe its time for an update!!!

i still have the 206, now known as my "Mistress" and she is looking sexy than ever, imo of corse.

not alot has changed over the past year if im honest just a few subtle mods really but thats all due to change soon enough

going from the pics on the first page this is what ive changed:

LED rear lights
HID H7r kit
lowerd 40mm all round
anthracite 16" nimrods (got a red set for the winter)
new lower SP grill so no more GTI badge!!!
tinted windows
little ICE setup

thats all the progress ive made in a year lol but plenty more to come!

the plans i have so far are:

Cams, unsure which ones yet still looking into it and speaking to catcams to see which will best suit my next mod....
Jenvey Throttle Boddies
standalone ECU (omex most likely)
new brakes
new exhaust

a few other little things on the list but just minor changes.

i sold the manifold as my god what a ball ache it would be to fit!!

engine had to be dropped down by the subframe, manifold fitted, cat cut as the mani is longer blah blah all in all would cost over £250, fook that!!

Havnt really got many recent pics of the car but here are some of them, looking much better than when i bought it if i do say so myself Smile

Sadley a few weeks ago i hit a HUGE pot hole at 50mph and done this to one of my nimmys Sad

lucky i have another set for the winter so changed the front 2.....

the red wheels are really growing on me!! opinions??

now a couple of vids.

NE's Rolling road day @ Evo Tune, made a healthy 140bhp with just a cat back + silencer exhaust and a panel filter and no service for 23k, woops!

acceleration vids (private land :D) btw the sound quality is pap, sounds like my non existent Vtec kicked in!!

exhaust note at 4.5k

well, thats it really for now, not the biggest ever update after a year of silence.

any comments or questions just post em up Very Happy

Karl out!
