#40: Re: Briant's 206 rallycar build loads of pics Author: briant, Location: IrelandPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 10:06 am ---- I sort of had lost interest in this for while but after break away from it i got stuck in again
I took back out orignal rear axle i got a 206SW rear axle but it had drum brakes, so i converted it to use 288mm front discs used the callipers from front brake kit i had and widened the track of axle by 160mm,removed the orignal anti roll bar and fitted adjustable ARB and finally fitted alloy Peugeot Sport axle bushings.
Other bits done are
Front driveshafts are now sorted and fitted
Peugeot Sport sump guard fitted
Fitted Front Heated windscreen & 1/4 windows
have set a deadline to do my local Tarmac Stages Rally at end of Feb so will have regular updates on this
next on list is finish bodywork then engine & gearbox rebuilds

It has to lock the wheels on the operation of the lever and remain locked with the hand removed from the lever. The usual way round it on a hydraulic handbrake is to fit a pin in the lever to hold it on
