Just a small update, the eagle eyed among you may have noticed after i painted the side of car i had 2 different shades of red Sad
the orignal colour i got around 3 years ago and supplier has gone out of buisness so i needed more paint and new supplier tells me there was only 1 shade and orignal paint was wrong colour for the code.
I was never 100% happy with 1st shade as i was expecting it to be reder(if thats even a word)
anyway long story short couldnt get a match for orignal paint so ended up repainting doors,roof and boot here's a pic from today finally all the same shade of red was a bit of a setback but looks a lot better Laughing

cheers yea happy with it now was gutted when i fitted doors n realised it was 2 diff shades
Need to get bodywork finished and on to engine & gearbox builds

I'm sorry to hear that. I hate color match problems. But Its just look amazing. I'm waiting your front bumper photos. Smile

I hope next year will start widebody conversation.

I took back out orignal rear axle i got a 206SW rear axle but it had drum brakes, so i converted it to use 288mm front discs used the callipers from front brake kit i had and widened the track of axle by 160mm,removed the orignal anti roll bar and fitted adjustable ARB and finally fitted alloy Peugeot Sport axle bushings.
Other bits done are
Front driveshafts are now sorted and fitted
Peugeot Sport sump guard fitted
Fitted Front Heated windscreen & 1/4 windows
have set a deadline to do my local Tarmac Stages Rally at end of Feb so will have regular updates on this Laughing
next on list is finish bodywork then engine & gearbox rebuilds

Hi mate

can you explaine me how do you widened the rear axle?
And about the front? How did you do with the transmissions and so on?

have a few days off from work so started the engine work stripped engine & started porting & polishing cyl head & manifolds its a slow process of lots of measurments but hope to have all porting finished by monday eve

I was just wondering where did you say you got your heated front windscreen made up from..? As I'm looking at getting on for my 205 as its gunna need it.

I love the new colour, more than the original Cool

It may have taken a long time so far but boy its been worth it!
What are you doing to the engine, what will it improve......in easy terms please as i'm no tech? Thumb Up

Nice progress Brain. But your inlet ports looking small to me. Which inlet system you will use.
I think you need GTI180 inlet manifold gasket for measurement and port match.
