Erm, You could say that mate
#56: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:32 pm ---- So todays progress consisted of, Gloss Black Mirrors, Gloss Black Front Lion, Alloys been Fitted, and the removal of my fog lights Which left the car looking like this
Then I put it back together, minus the lights to take a side shot to show the alloys for those asking to see them
I'll be spraying the fogs tomorrow and then pull the poor thing back to pieces to re-fit them
As always expect pictures tomorrow when I do a propper update
#57: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Dillon, Location: KentPosted: Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:58 pm ---- Looks ace mate really liking the mods to this car, it's really taking shape not far off being one of the best
#58: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Sat Feb 27, 2010 4:04 pm ---- Thanks mate
Still got a few plans in mind for her yet though haha! Nothing over the top, keeping in with the lines of whats already going on with the car just finishing touches and more subtle things
#59: Re: Project Slow - Ste206 Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:15 am ---- Todays progress so far:
Baked the lights in the oven - Gas Mark 2 / 150°C for anyone thinking of doing this for about 20 mins.. Kept taking them out every 5 mins to check on the progress and slowly take them appart at each removal from the oven.
Then went ahead and sanded them down to key them for the spray, primed them with a couple of thin even coats, and then sprayed them with the black again a few even thin coats.. This is them finished with the glass placed on them but not sealed..
And before:
After:
Just got to go take the car to bits again and re-fit them
