Is it hazards coming on not to do with the ESP kicking in under hard braking? As the hazards only tend to come under emergency braking in other 206's.

EBA + auto hazard lights are listed on SE models and upwards from January 2004

ESP is listed on GTi models from April 2004

I have a phase 2 03, that doesn't have ABS Sad

So I guess it's unlikely that I'll have auto-hazards...sigh

1.1's are less likely to warrant auto-hazards as much as higher-spec models [with disc brakes all-round]

My 1.4 8v with drums on the back had the auto hazards.

I've only had the auto hazards come on once in the 3 years i've had it... you'd have to be driving like a bit of a tit to get them on regularly enough to be annoying.

LOL at some of the comments in this thread tho... proper funny stuff, wish i'd seen it sooner.

Lol, It happened to me about 3 times over 2 years in my 1.4, one of those was doing it on purpose in a safe place. Two emergency stops.

He really must have been driving like a d**k, just saw the crash photos! lol!
