Is it hazards coming on not to do with the ESP kicking in under hard braking? As the hazards only tend to come under emergency braking in other 206's.
EBA + auto hazard lights are listed on SE models and upwards from January 2004
ESP is listed on GTi models from April 2004

So I guess it's unlikely that I'll have auto-hazards...sigh

1.1's are less likely to warrant auto-hazards as much as higher-spec models [with disc brakes all-round]
#36: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: lnorth, Location: Coventry/LeedsPosted: Sat Jul 31, 2010 3:15 pm ---- That is very very true
I wish I had more power haha, still never know might find a pot of gold and get a GTi180 one day

My 1.4 8v with drums on the back had the auto hazards.
#38: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: Ali_H, Location: Chichester, SussexPosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 4:34 am ---- I've only had the auto hazards come on once in the 3 years i've had it... you'd have to be driving like a bit of a tit to get them on regularly enough to be annoying.
LOL at some of the comments in this thread tho... proper funny stuff, wish i'd seen it sooner.
#39: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: Ali_H, Location: Chichester, SussexPosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 4:35 am ---- *Edit* What you mean by a bit late now, he crashed it already?

#41: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: Ali_H, Location: Chichester, SussexPosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 4:41 am ---- Oh my days, poor 180
Was a nice car if I remember.
#42: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: Dave, Location: BirminghamPosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 4:42 am ---- Lol, It happened to me about 3 times over 2 years in my 1.4, one of those was doing it on purpose in a safe place. Two emergency stops.
He really must have been driving like a d**k, just saw the crash photos! lol!
#43: Re: Hard braking in a 180 Author: Ali_H, Location: Chichester, SussexPosted: Mon Aug 02, 2010 4:45 am ---- Yea I just saw those photos too, sounds like he was only third party if he's selling the bits off this quick. Fail
