All I'd say on the HID's is that they're less blinding if fitted through projector lenses such as morettes etc (Which mine are) rather than through standard crystal headlight units.

Car's looking spot on! As addaz said, not tempted by rear disks?

dont suppose you could find out what the brightness on your HID's are could you Very Happy

Here's the write up from the Ecosse website:

"Converts standard headlights to real Xenon High Intensity Discharge Lighting, it is 8000K White/Blue virtual daylight colour which is 3x brighter then standard Halogen bulbs"

Since when? Last I heard you needed headlight washers and auto-levelling headlights which the 206 hasn't got, therefore rendering them illegal. I'm not having a go anyway, I don't care, considering I had them fitted on my old 206 in Morettes and they never caused anyone a problem.

Misano's are lovely, not seen the other seats you mention. I think big deep dished alloys can suit anything, particularly when you've got flared arches like your car has. I just think it could set the car apart.... BobSparkle is one of example of this with his RH rims (pretty sure they were RH anyway!).

I've no idea then mate, as i thought they were legal. Although it has just passed its MOT today plus i wouldnt change them for anything as ill never go back to normal headlights after experiencing how good they are.

The Recaros' come as standard in the Corsa VXR and Focus RS. If i got deep dish i'd want them completely black even the dish so it would be a bit pointless as you wouldnt get to see the proper depth of them as i wouldnt want silver on my alloys.

Mine passed it's MOT with the HID's in aswell.

Ahh I've seen the Corsa VXR seats, very nice. I know what you're saying about the wheels, you wouldn't see the dish as much, but it would still be apparent and it would still give it some depth if that makes sense. What would be really cool, is fully black splits with the bolts round the edge in the same colour as the car, if possible. I need a pic to prove what I'm saying really I guess...

All black and dished. If they were just black and not dished it wouldn't look anywhere near as good! The dish gives them some depth and they don't look so 2 dimensional.

This made me angry (quoted below) and upset upon my efforts on my car. I dont have 4 millions pounds like you, I had around a 1.5k budget (including the wheels) and I think I did well.

Therefore I must hit back with a childish, rude comment back.

The best thing about a well executed Euro car is the attention to detail and how they get round certain problems i.e foglight into rear lights. But on this car I feel its lacking a few things for example you’ve still got the exhaust cut out, still got the front and rear towing hooks, haven’t bothered to relocated the foglight, have just stuck the numberplate on instead of actually building it into the existing bumper where maybe the foglight used to be and your stretched rear arches don’t match up with your rear bumper. Its all these things that let the car down.

You keeping mentioning that you’ll just pay the fines if your stopped but would it not be alot more sensible to spend the money you’d actually waste on fines to get the work done to make sure you don’t get stopped for anything illegal on the car?

Looks like a jap-chav car to me. Just my opinion. It's those sharp body-kitted edges that let the car down.

Doesn’t bother me what you think mate, as you’ve just made yourself out to look immature with your pathetic comments.

Don’t know why you’re ‘upset’ by my comments as I was merely pointing out some things you needed to complete before you could actually say your car was complete. You’ve not done things which if I was building a Euro 206 I would’ve done e.g. make the bumper match the flared arches. But if your happy with it minus these simple things then that’s up to you.

Also can’t see how my car looks Jap Style and please do point out where the ‘sharp body-kitted edges’ are as it’s a nice curvy kit to match the curves of the 206????

P.S. if you want to discuss things further then PM me as i dont want my thread having childish comments!

Whilst I agree with you about the childish comments, its your comments in bold that grates me, as well as him by the sounds of it. He can do what he wants to the car for it to be called complete, you don't decide when he can say his car is complete.

Everyone has opinions on each others cars, but don't act like the Euro police and tell him whether or not his car is completed in the Euro look. People have a budget.

PS. By the way, love your car so in no way is this an attack on your car, just your comments. I've wanted to ask for a while, have you got a different engine in their yet?
