Maybe on a black car you could get away with it, but it stands out for the wrong reasons on ligth coloured cars.
#171: Re: MattyP's Gti Project Big Big Update Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 10:11 am ---- Big big update for everyone.
After this wknd with the 206 developing another fault, even though it was only the crankshaft sensor I have decided to call the project a day and sell the 206 once i've enough funds to buy my next car.

#173: Re: MattyP's Gti Project Big Big Update Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 11:38 am ---- I know mate, if it wasn't for this fault i was going to be taking the car to Ace wraps to get the roof carbon wrapped.
Ideally want a type r, dc2's and ek9's are quite expensive and maybe out of my price range so may even get an accord type r but will have to wait and see
#174: Re: MattyP's Gti Project Big Big Update Author: jayz206gti, Location: TamworthPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 12:02 pm ---- Just keep saving and see what comes about. Im no longer selling my 180 as i dont need to commute as far for work so ive just treated her to some new toyos and aslong as the mot doesnt bite me i will keep it for another year.
#175: Re: MattyP's Gti Project Big Big Update Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 1:45 pm ---- Hopefully i'll get a reasonable amount for the 206 which will help towards my aim for a type r

i think you should put back to standard and trade it in for a car you want, or sell it standard there's 300-600 £ in in the wheels and seats alone.
your get more selling extras of the car than leaving them on

I know how you feel mate, don't think anything else can go wrong with it, it's just down to age, that sensor i had replaced had been on since factory in 1999 so reckon it's lasted well lol
I want to sell it as it is so i'm not spending money on getting new interior etc Last edited by MattyP on Mon Aug 06, 2012 11:28 pm; edited 1 time in total

If you are serious about saving money for a new car, this is the daftest thing you could do.
