it's a ph2 arial base with a stubby oem arial

will be removing the ph1 arial and getting the hole welded over and then the new arial fitted hence the delay in fitting

steve i will try and get a pic of the system this weekend as i plan on working on the car anyway

just a small update on the 206 due to problem having with car, so i decided to remove the sp arches to have them sprayed but am quite liking the car without them so might leave them off

once the problem has been sorted i'm hoping to get some morettes and get some of the bodywork sorted but that will include a new bonnet and smoothing the arial off

Car looks great mate, remember to get the rubbers I told you about before, they will make a big difference to the exhaust!

Imo all the car needs is a private plate! just to make it look newer, as the car looks alot newer than it is - Credit to you.

thanks mate Smile

i got the rubber you got for yours and it is fitted in those pics above. think it's because the janspeed wasn't really meant for my car and the garage who fitted it had to weld a small bit of pipe from the cat to the exhaust

no major update other than mechanical repairs lol alot of guys will be aware of the problem i have with the gti, well i'm pleased to say they found the issue, something to do with 1 of the wiring harnesses melting and damaging the ecu

Puegeot wanted pretty much the value of the car (1100) just for the parts alone, then there was the garage bill which i still don't know yet plus another £90 for peugeot to re-programme the ecu, luckily i found a matching 2nd hand ecu for under £90 inc postage and a full engine wiring loom for £21 thanks to Lee aka Philip.

Only issue I have is the garage can't fit the ecu etc til june 11th. Hoping to get the car back before june 22nd before my shoulder op and i'm unable to drive for 3 months, good news is is that in that time i plan on putting the car in the bodyshop to have some work done ready for when i can drive again Smile
