Nice work buddy! A question though when you sprayed your bump strips what brand of rattle cans etc did you use? Looks like you got a pretty good finish for a DIY job Smile
Cheers
Ryan

Thanks Smile just rattle cans.

It's pretty good except they would turn out so much better if they were machined polish after, and halfords idea of eyc isn't exactly the same as pugs so the colour is slightly different :/

Lol fair enough mate, I'll invest into looking into a better brand of can, or just goto a paint shop and ask them to match the colour for me Smile

I did mate I followed your ebay link and bought a few Very Happy think I said so on your thread.

how did you get them into the glovebox? they are a couple of mm too big and I tried to shorten them but I must have messed it up as it stopped working. Yeah isn't long left now, there's so many dents and bodged paintwork on mine it lets it down Sad

Very Happy It's pretty rare I got it from a gti but it was an optional extra as no other gti I've seen has it. Would take a long time to find one from a scrappy, think they are pretty rare. The one I got it from also had the rare manual sunroof but I have no idea if this has anything to do with it.

No worries it's a bit like marmite and I love them Smile thanks for the compliments

Mine are a massive botched job lol.

To get them in I basically ripped the whole casing apart and used tape to keep everything in place from behind it Wink

You done a better job than me with the interior one anyway and I have the same interior light panel Smile

I know what you mean with bodywork I have one thing that's really bad but ain't got sorted yet Sad and got other things to do before I take it to its first show (hopefully on in April or May)

I think you made the right choice about adapting the casing, I tried adapting the light pannel and didn't go down to well Sad

Dents are annoying, especially on the rear quarters its such an expensive and usually pointless thing to repair when they are only 206s. When I get another car (another 206 Laughing ) I'm going to make sure it's been very well looked after then it will be one less thing to be concerned about.

Nice one that's not a bad price. The ones I bought are these

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay...K:MEWNX:IT

Only takes 7 days from china, they are perfect for the interior light I only got one in but you could probably just about fit two in that would be extremely bright.

I managed to get it in the map ready light but it sits about 2cm above the lense because it's too big so it doesn't appear as bright as it should. I would really recommend just getting a normal LED bulb will end up being brighter because it will fit right.

Also the pins needed swapping to the other side on the interior light, not a big deal just make sure you don't twist and snap them.

Thank you Smile means a lot. Nah I'm not and don't have a background with cars either. But I'm doing a degree in mechanical design so I guess that may help a little.
