Earlier on this year i used some Plasticare on the bumpers, which did a grand job and seems to be standing the test of time.
In the end it did do a good job but it's a little harder to apply than meets the eye, it seems to be the case that it needs to be applied VERY evenly otherwise it streaks badly. Hence, I had to go over the areas several times to get it looking even.

and the afters...
And here's the fleet causing mayhem and taking up too much space on my street as per usual
The next thing to tackle is the interior. Anyone got any tips on how to remove hair/dust etc from velour? Trying to wipe a microfibre cloth across the stuff is pretty hilarious as it just causes friction and doesn't glide at all
More recently, i've bought a wad of sunroof seals as the ones on the miami look perished so got some of these to avoid any winter disasters! As you can see, I have 20 of them, so if you want some, let me know.
Some bits arrived yesterday. The Miami is crying out for a fresh backbox, so found a new one on ebay for £50 delivered, it's got a few dents in it but it lives under the car so not all bad! I have started to polish this already, so these are the befores with afters to follow.
Got a new bonnet catch too as the mine's is rusty.

#114: Re: I need to stop buying 309's...here's a pretty blue one... Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Mon Jan 23, 2012 1:16 pm ---- Yes there's a chippy on the "main street" if I can even call it that, Leeswood is a lovely but tiny little collection of houses, I don't know if it's big enough to be considered a village?
It belonged to a chap called Andy Williams, there will always be some form of 205, 309 or 306 on his driveway.
Cheers for the comments!

The lights aren't for this car but for the other 2 and err just for having for whenever they get manky! The phase 1 has non oem lights on it and looks terrible. I already have "the 4th" light in my stores, so have 2 sets, driver's side headlights seem to be very hard to get a hold of new now.
Also picked up a brand new steering wheel and brand new gearknob...i was highly excited when I opened the box!!
No idea if the air horns are oem or not? They were flung in with the deal which was nice!
I also got a replacement wing for the miami since some b*****d reversed into the side of my car last year and didn't leave a note! I thought it would pop out but it's right on the crease line so to avoid nasty filler, i decided to get a good replacement wing.
#119: Re: I need to stop buying 309's...here's a pretty blue one... Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Thu Feb 16, 2012 4:53 pm ---- Well I had a chap remove LOADS of dents on the car today, the camera can't really pick up previous dents but I am seriously chuffed with the results. Some of you might remember this car and how bad the dents on the passenger door was and now, most are gone!
I think my mum's opened her door on mine in the windy months near the hinge end of my door and has failed to tell me, but I won't confront her lol.
Befores...i found pics from a long, long time ago courtesy of jord294
3 dents on rear quarter
A cluster below the handle/door lock. One just below crease line and one nearer the hinge was removed.
Another one...
And after
