#6: Re: painting my alloys Author: LilLew, Location: PlymouthPosted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:38 am ---- it is grades of sand paper p 180 is rought but p800 is fine sand paper
#7: Re: painting my alloys Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:38 am ---- hes talking about the grade of sand paper, 180 being very rough and grade 1200 being very fine, you use finer grades last to make sure the surface has a really smooth finish.
#8: Re: painting my alloys Author: LilLew, Location: PlymouthPosted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:39 am ---- you could also go to ultra fine which is 2000grit - 2500grit
#9: Re: painting my alloys Author: Teebag, Location: exhall, bedworth, coventryPosted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:41 am ---- trizact p3000 is best i've ever used
